Elbit Systems has awarded a contract to BAE Systems to upgrade up to 777 military vehicles as part of the Australian Army’s Land 200 Programme (Land 75 / Land 125).

The A$4.9m upgrade contract will include Macks, Unimogs, Bushmasters and M113 armoured personnel carriers (APCs).

It prepare the vehicles for the installation of a Battle Group and Below Command, Control and Communications system.

The installation activities on the Mack, Unimog and Bushmaster vehicles will be carried out at the Meeandah Military Facility in Brisbane, while the M113 APCs will be upgraded at the 7RAR Facility in northern Adelaide.
