BAE Systems has been awarded a task order to produce the driver’s vision enhancer family of systems (DVE-FOS) for the operators of US Army combat and logistics vehicles.
The company has received $140m in cumulative orders for the DVE-FOS under a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with the US Army.

As per the agreement, the company will delivery over 3,500 systems and more than 26,000 line replaceable units for installation on a variety of combat and tactical wheeled vehicles.
DVE-FOS includes infrared sensors, displays, vehicle integration kits and other equipment that enhances situational awareness by providing all-weather, day-or-night visibility to operators of vehicles.
Production will be carried out in Austin, Texas, US.
