Iran has filed a lawsuit against Russia at the International Court of Justice for not complying with its commitments on the agreement over delivery of S-300 air defence systems, Iranian ambassador to Russia Seyed Mahmoud Reza Sajjadi has said.

“Legally, we believe the shipment of the S-300 system is not subject to the UN Security Council resolution so we filed our lawsuit, hoping the International Court ruling would help Russia carry out the supplies,” he added.
