Small form-factor pluggable computing company Arnouse Digital Devices (ADDC) has won a sole-source contract from the US Army for the delivery of an array of products from its BioDigitalPC ecosystem.
The $13.5m five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price (FFP) contract has an initial task order worth $2.1m.

The BioDigitalPC is a credit card-sized fully functional computer, equivalent to the modern desktop computer.
All its generations are built on a platform that is backward and forward compatible. The fourth-generation BioDigitalPC has a quad-core and 8GB RAM.
Arnouse Digital Devices chairman and CEO Michael Arnouse said: “We have had a long-standing relationship with the US Army and the Department of Defense (DOD).
“This contract award is a testament to the quality and utility of ADDC’s product line that is proudly made in the US. We are excited about the expanded adoption of ADDC’s compute platform by the DoD.”

The BioDigitalPC ecosystem includes diverse docking stations for different applications and different inputs and outputs.
Without the ability to retain any data, the latest docking station for the BioDigitalPC ecosystem uses a minimalistic approach to data, power, and video signals.
ADDC, which currently operates from three locations on the east and west coasts, has secured 24 utility patents. Several patents are pending in the areas of pluggable computing and the surrounding ecosystem.
