Turkey’s plans to activate its new Russian missile defence systems S-400 have been delayed due to Covid-19 outbreak; however, it does not plan to halt its decision of switching on the system, which was delivered by Moscow last July, reported Reuters, citing a senior official. Turkey’s decision to activate the air defence system had created tensions with the US, which last year ejected Turkey from the F-35 programme in response.
