Alion Science and Technology has secured a task order to provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) services and integrated logistics support (ILS) for Combatant Commands (COCOMs).

The $969m task order was awarded by the General Services Administration (GSA), Assisted Acquisition Service (AAS) Region 1 under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Unrestricted Pool 1 contract.

It has a 12-month base performance period and four one-year options.

The task order will deliver enhanced capabilities for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Under the contract, Alion will design and develop concept demonstrators, and develop processes and procedures.

The contract will also include analysing future C4ISR system capabilities and developing concept designs.

In addition, the task order will cover services system integration, and manned and unmanned airborne operations, logistics, and sustainment.

Alion senior vice-president and general manager Alan Dietrich said: “This award is the continuation of a multi-year relationship with COCOM mission partners and the outstanding commitment by the Alion ISR team in support of critical missions.

“Our customers and Alion have worked closely together to develop and deploy advanced, multi-intelligence ISR solutions that support ongoing operations. Developing future technologies is crucial to maintaining an edge against ongoing and future threats.”

The company has also received a potential ten-year GSA blanket purchase agreement for National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC).

The contract involves providing scientific and technical intelligence support services to the NASIC, the US Air Force, and the Department of Defense (DoD).
