TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) has been selected as one of the prime contractors for the US Army’s worldwide communications and infrastructure support (WCIS) basic ordering agreement (BOA).

Awarded to a total of 16 companies, the multiple-award WCIS agreement is designed to provide global services and supplies for the modernisation of communications systems and the installation of information infrastructure to support worldwide US Army enterprise efforts.

The agreement supports the project manager Installation Information Infrastructure Communications and Capabilities (I3C2) mission, including the Product Manager Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP), and product manager Power Projection Enablers (P2E), among others.

WCIS is structured to address the outside of continental US (OCONUS) requirements associated with provision of capabilities and adaptive processes that support net-centricity, secure access to knowledge, and improved information systems and services throughout the army environment.
