Cubic Global Defense (CGD), a business unit of Cubic Corporation, has secured a $33.7m contract to support US Army Europe (USAREUR) training activities in Germany.

The company will continue to support simulation training at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center (JMSC) in Grafenwoehr, and Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels.

Under the terms of the five-year contract, CGD will assist the JMSC in carrying out mission rehearsal exercises (MRE) and training events.

It will also support simulation training for combatant commanders, as well as Nato and partner-nation units and leaders.

The JMSC is believed to be the US Army’s largest overseas training command centre. It facilitates mission command training by integrating live, virtual, constructive and gaming (LVC-G) environments.

The company will integrate mission command systems and LVC-G simulations to support JMSC missions in Germany.

It will also provide stable simulation network backbones, exercise infrastructure and configuration management.
