Sysorex, a US-based developer of analytics software and solutions, has secured a position in the US Army’s Programme Management Support Services – 3 (PMSS3) contract worth $461m.
Awarded by the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), the five-year contract covers provision of programme management support services for the army.

Sysorex CEO Nadir Ali said: "We are pleased to be selected by the PEO EIS to help it meet its operational objectives via the PMSS3 contract.
"Moreover, as one of just five small businesses to be awarded this contract vehicle, we believe this is recognition of SGS’s ability to execute in support of important federal programme management projects like PMSS3."
Sysorex will provide support for project / product management, business process re-engineering (BPR), information system security, contingency planning, enterprise design, integration and consolidation.
The company will also assist with system operation and maintenance, integrated logistics, and other lifecycle support services.

By GlobalDataAlongside Sysorex, 12 other companies also won the contract, which is expected to come into effect immediately.
Sysorex was originally awarded the contract in 2014, but it was stalled due to legal complications involving unsuccessful bidders.
