The latest contract award follows a $405m foreign military sales IDIQ contract for tactical radios from the US Army Communications-Electronics Command earlier this month.

The contract will see Harris providing tactical communications equipment, including export versions of its single channel ground and airborne radio system (SINCGARS), as well as ground and airborne configurations of the SpearNet Team Member radio.

It also covers associated products and spares; and training, installation and field service support.

Harris communication systems president Chris Young previously said: "Harris’ SINCGARS and other tactical radios deliver situational awareness into the hands of the warfighter."
