This network-ready system preserves samples for confirmation, and can be operated independently without human interaction for weeks on end.

Led by the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense, JUPITR will provide biological protection capabilities to meet the demand for stronger biosurveillance capabilities on the Korean Peninsula.

Battelle’s CBRNE defence business focuses on the research, development, testing and evaluation of threat detection sensors, personal protective equipment (PPE) and explosives, and risk assessment software tools to help protect nations from terrorism.
