These types of exercises are conducted for units targeted for deployment in support of on-going military operations overseas, the company said in a statement.

"JRTC is a critical element in the military’s Joint National Training Center initiative with its goal of training joint force units."

The contract also covers technical support for combat training instrumentation, battlefield effects, video and cultural role players (foreign language speakers).

Cubic Global Defense president Dave Buss said: “JRTC is a critical element in the military’s Joint National Training Center initiative with its goal of training joint force units.

“Cubic is committed to maintaining JRTC’s excellent reputation of offering realistic training to our warfighters and will continue to fulfil the army’s requirements in providing mission readiness services to better prepare them for actual battlefields.”
