General Dynamics (GD) Information Technology has been awarded a new task order by the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to offer information technology (IT) support to the US European Command (USEUCOM) Intelligence Directorate (ECJ2).

The contract has been awarded under DIA's enhanced solutions for the IT enterprise (E-SITE), multiple-award, indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract basis.

Under the terms of the deal, General Dynamics Information Technology will deliver IT, content management, web architect, planning and documentation support services to the ECJ2.

With a five-year ordering period of $16m, work on the contract will be carried out within DIA's USEUCOM region, including at deployed locations.

For more than 30 years, the company has worked with DIA, providing support for the transformation and expansion of the US agency’s mission scope.

Last month, General Dynamics Information Technology secured a new Enterprise Communications Services 2 (ECS2) contract, worth $155m, from the DIA to handle enterprise communications for the combatant commands and its subordinate divisions.

Prior to this task order, the company was awarded another five-year, $170m contract by the DIA to provide cyber-security services military services, including the Combatant Commands.
