NCI has received a firm-fixed-price contract and two task orders to provide a range of IT support services to the US Army.
Awarded under the Total Engineering and Information Systems (TEIS) III contract for IT services, the two task orders aggregating $6m supports the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Fort Huachuca Engineering Directorate (FHED), and Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate (FDED).
The Fort Huachuca task order includes a base period of thirteen and a half months, while the Fort Detrick task order consists of a one-year base period.
NCI will provide FHED with information systems engineering, furnishing, installation, testing, securing, commissioning, and training for the new XVIIIth Airborne Corps Mission Command Facility C4I/IT Visual Information Systems at Fort Bragg.
The FDED task order requires the company to continue the provision of flexible quality control (QC) for a wide variety of IT and auxiliary support systems at army locations worldwide.
NCI president Brian Clark said: "Our support of mission-critical applications, such as those in place at the XVIIIth Airborne Corps and our work with next generation VTC architectures for several DoD agencies provide us a keen insight into the needs of the Mission Command Facility in implementing their C4I/IT systems.
"Our work supporting Fort Detrick, which now spans nearly a decade, will continue to ensure successful performance for all US Army communication equipment and infrastructure installations worldwide."
The TEIS III contract is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract awarded by the army in March 2011.
Valued at $9.4m, the second firm-fixed-price contract requires the company to operate and maintain classified and unclassified communication systems in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Benning, Georgia.
NCI will provide IT support services, including network administration, installation and engineering, and system maintenance, in addition to help desk assistance, hardware and software installation and troubleshooting, web master and video teleconferencing support, technical control facility operations and maintenance, as well as configuration management of the installation infrastructure.
The contract was awarded under ITES-2S contract, and includes a one-year base period and one 12-month option year.
