Asahi Kasei Group company ZOLL Medical has received a sole-source contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver Propaq M vital signs monitors for the US Army.

As the joint ‘product of choice’, the deployable monitors will also be supplied to the US Air Force.

Propaq M is equipped with enhanced abilities compared to the Propaq Encore 206 and is designed for military operations in adverse conditions.

The monitor can be equipped with an integrated defibrillator and pacer for critical lifesaving missions.

ZOLL Medical global resuscitation division president A Ernest Whiton said: “We are very pleased to see the continued commitment to the ZOLL Propaq platform.

“The monitor can be equipped with an integrated defibrillator and pacer for critical lifesaving missions.”

“This recent award demonstrates the DoD’s confidence in ZOLL’s monitoring and defibrillation technology that is currently deployed throughout the services today.”
