“And while adversaries, terrains, and tactics have all evolved immensely since the vehicle’s conception, the JLTV’s flexible design allows the light tactical vehicle fleet to evolve at a similar pace.”

The Oshkosh JLTV is designed to offer mobility, transportability and survivability over all types of terrain in all types of weather.

The flexible design of JLTV allows its integration with updated weapons, lasers, sensors, networking and communications.

This helps the troops to effectively defeat evolving enemies and threats and achieve mission success.

So far, Oshkosh has equipped the JLTV with various weapons including Remote Weapon Systems up to 30mm, anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems and Counter-UAV systems.

Separately in February this year, the US Army placed a $407.3m order with Oshkosh Defense for 1,240 JLTVs and associated kits.

As part of the order, the company was expected to supply JLTVs for the USMC, Slovenia and Lithuania and associated kits for the US Army, USMC, Slovenia and Lithuania.
