VirTra to deliver weapon simulator for US Army

VirTra Systems (VTSI) has been awarded a contract to provide 180° weapon simulators for the US Army.

Under the contract, the company will deliver the training equipment to the US Army's 834th Transportation Battalion for enhanced realism while training.

The training system features three screens that offer a complete and flexible platform for engagement skills training as well as supporting nine firing lanes for marksmanship training.

The contract also includes the Threat-Fire device, an advanced M-4 tetherless recoil kit, rifle magazine, trainee monitoring and recording (TMaR) system, and Threat-Fire return-fire simulators.
