Decisive Analytics has received a task order to support the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Systems Engineering (DASD(SE)) in the US.

The task order to provide software engineering and schedule risk assessment support is part of an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which was awarded by Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).

Decisive Analytics programme manager Lawrence Gresko said: "We look forward to bringing to Software Engineering and Risk Assessment the skill and passion for mission success which we have displayed for DASD(SE) for the past twelve years.

Valued at $14.8m, the latest task order is the second one awarded under the IDIQ.

Decisive Analytics will provide software, measurement, and analysis; programme protection; and cross domain support to the Director, Major Programs Support (D,MPS) of DASD(SE).

Under the first task order, Decisive Analytics will provide major programme support to DASD(SE).

Decisive Analytics will work with the DMPS of DASD(SE) on all major programmes within the US DoD across all services.

The company will provide advice on best engineering practices to help programme managers identify and mitigate risks, shape technical planning and management, and advocate for DoD Component engineering initiatives.
