Raytheon Company has received a $523m contract from the US Army to modernise the Patriot air and missile defence systems in service with Kuwait.

The modernisation of Patriot systems will provide improved protection from airborne attacks for key infrastructure in Kuwait.

AM General has been contracted by the US Department of Defense to manufacture and deliver 356 high-mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicles for the Iraqi Army.

"The modernisation of Patriot systems will provide improved protection from airborne attacks for key infrastructure in Kuwait."

Work under the $66m contract will be performed at AM General's Mishawaka facility, and is scheduled to be completed in August.

The US Army Contracting Command has awarded a $24.61m contract to Berg Manufacturing to supply multi-temperature refrigerated container system.

The contractual work is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2021.

A $28.61m contract has been awarded by the US Army Intelligence and Security Command to Six3 Intelligence Solutions to provide intelligence support services for US Forces in Afghanistan.

The contractual work is expected to be completed by January.

Accenture Federal Services has been awarded a $53.52m modification contract by the US Army Contracting Command to provide operations and maintenance services for the US Army general fund enterprise business system.

The work will be performed at Accenture's Arlington facility in Virginia and is scheduled for completion in September.
