Deals this week: Orbital ATK, L-3 Communications, CACI International

Orbital ATK’s subsidiary, Alliant Techsystems Operations, has secured a $68.94m contract modification to supply 8,001 M1156 precision guidance kits for the US Army and Marine Corps.

Orbital ATK’s subsidiary, Alliant Techsystems Operations, has secured a $68.94m contract modification to supply 8,001 M1156 precision guidance kits for the US Army and Marine Corps.

The guidance kits will be produced in Plymouth, Minnesota, US.

The contract has been awarded by the US Army Contracting Command and is expected to run through February 2019.

L-3 Communications Holdings has been contracted by the US Army Contracting Command to provide logistics support for governmental aircraft.

Valued at $216.37m, the new contract is a modification to a previously awarded order.

Work will be performed by L-3 Aerospace Systems in Madison, Mississippi, US, for a period of one year.

CACI International has been selected as the prime contractor for a $460m multiple-award contract.

As part of the contract, CACI will provide cyber engineering and support services for the US Cyber Command’s military cyberspace operations, for a period of five years.

The US Defense Logistics Agency has awarded a $22.77m contract to DRS Network & Imaging Systems for wired housing assembly systems.

The contractual work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida, until November 2017.

The UAE Ministry of Defence has ordered 24 RG31 Agrab 120mm 4x4 mortar carrier vehicles from Denel SOC.

Denel will partner with International Golden Group, a UAE-based defence and security solutions provider, to incorporate customised equipment in the vehicles.
