The MTTS system is equipped with a CS6716A digital troposcatter modem that provides Ethernet-based connectivity and turbo code forward error-correction.

The system provides the war-fighter with increased throughput capacity, mission-critical surveillance, situational awareness and real-time data in remote, infrastructure-challenged locations.
