"The Apache has made a tremendous impact in the defence of the nations that have flown it for the last 37 years."

To date, seven customers outside the US have ordered the Apache 'E' variant.

The Apache attack helicopters are equipped with laser and infrared systems, as well as target acquisition designation sights / pilot night-vision sensors to locate, track, and attack targets.

The helicopter can be armed with a combination of laser-guided precision Hellfire missiles, 70mm rockets, and a 30mm automatic cannon with up to 1,200 high-explosive, dual-purpose ammunition rounds.

Powered by two high-performance turboshaft engines, Apache has a maximum cruise speed of 284km/h.
