The US Army has contracted Agilent Technologies to supply MXG microwave analogue signal generators to the army as part of its test equipment modernisation (TEMOD) programme.
Under the $35m contract, Agilent will provide 1,600 N5183M MXG microwave analogue signal generators over a period of seven years.
The N5183M MXG microwave analogue signal generator offers improved measurement accuracy and test times with maximised uptimes.
Created to replace outdated general-purpose test equipment with modern alternatives, the TEMOD programme aims to improve the readiness of present and future army systems, while cutting operating and support costs.
