The Australian Defence Materiel Organisation has awarded a contract to BAE to provide T150F track link assemblies and sprockets for the Australian upgraded version of M113 vehicles.
The T150F is a double-pin track system that improves the performance and durability of M113 and other lightweight vehicles.

The M113 can perform amphibious operations, extended cross-country travel over rough terrain and high-speed operations on improved roads and highways while carrying 12 troops and a driver.
BAE manufactures the T150F track and M113 vehicle through its US Combat Systems business.
Under the $14m contract, work will be carried out at the company’s facility in Alabama, US, and is expected to complete in July 2011.
