China has agreed to reinforce military relations with Cambodia and Lebanon in an effort to further develop their defence links.

Chinese Defence Minister Liang Guanglie said Cambodia had, in recent years, contributed to the significant growth in military relations along with productive exchanges in science and technology, according to Xinhua News Agency.

The two countries have effectively cooperated with each other in the areas of military personnel training, and building of military schools and hospitals while Lebanon supported China on the Taiwan issue.

The Chinese Army chief of general staff, Chen Bingde, said the country was ready to work with Cambodia and Lebanon to further bolster their military cooperation.
