Rutter will supply components and spare parts for the US Army’s Stryker vehicles under two contracts awarded by General Dynamics Land Systems, Canada.
Under the contracts worth $6m, Rutter will supply assemblies spare parts and related components for the Stryker combat vehicles.

The Stryker is a family of eight-wheel drive combat vehicles built for the US Army which can be deployed to the battlefield using trucks or by air on C-17, C-5 and C-130 aircraft.
Stryker incorporates Kongsberg remote weapon station, mobile gun system, anti-tank guided missile and other lethality features.
The combat vehicle has an operational range of 300 miles and a maximum speed of 62mph.
Work is expected to be complete by June 2011.
