The US Army has awarded a $100m contract to CACI International to provide support services for the army’s tactical battle command family of products.

The battle command family of products includes the army’s manoeuvre control system, defence readiness reporting system, global command and control system, advanced field artillery tactical data system and the joint automated deep operations coordination system.

The products are used by the Army’s Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications Tactical (PEO C3T) Program Manager Battle Command.

The contract has two base years with an eight-month option, and is part of the army’s $19.25bn strategic services sourcing (S3) contract vehicle.
