Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded a contract by the US Army TACOM Lifecycle Management Command to support the programme manager (PM) heavy brigade combat team (HBCT).

Under the one-year contract, the company will support the team with production, product assurance and engineering services for all PM HBCT platform vehicles.

The services provided include evaluation of test and evaluation master plans, programme schedules, vehicle testing support, production planning and scheduling, manufacturing process planning, and system engineering plans.

The other support services are being provided as per US Army regulations for proper execution of fielded PM HBCT systems.
