DiSTI has won an order to develop Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTT) for the US Army and Army National Guard’s Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV). 

As part of the Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) initiative, DiSTI will provide the virtual training solutions along with classroom hardware.  

The company is currently providing JLTV DTT prototype lessons. 

With the $10m order, the company will now provide a total of 200 maintenance and troubleshooting lessons and procedures.  

DiSTI’s virtual training solutions are designed to provide personnel with a training experience that is realistic and practical.  

It allows students to train in an advanced 3D learning environment and acquire vehicle maintainer’s associated skills.

The JLTV DTT trainers will be installed in Fort Lee, Virginia and 13 Army National Guard and Reserve training sites in the continental US and Hawaii.  

The tactical vehicle is developed to provide protected and networked mobility for personnel and payloads.  

Developed by the US Army, the FMT programme establishes a Common Core (CC) software baseline.  

In May, DiSTI won a contract to upgrade the Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) Land-Based Phalanx Weapon System (LPWS) Operator and Maintainer Trainer (OMT) for the US Army.
