CACI secures contract to develop intelligence systems for US Army

Information solutions and services provider CACI International has won a five-year $415m contract to develop and deploy intelligence systems for the US Army.

Information solutions and services provider CACI International has won a five-year $415m contract to develop and deploy intelligence systems for the US Army.

The US Army’s Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) office aims to strengthen quick reaction capabilities across the branch in areas such as signals intelligence, electronic warfare and cybersecurity.

The General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center awarded the Exploit, Enhance, Enable, and Influence (E3I) support services contract, which will involve CACI designing and deploying technologies for the TENCAP office.

CACI will leverage an advanced signal processing framework to develop, deploy, and sustain new phases of TENCAP technologies, prototypes, systems, and sensors.

The TENCAP programme seeks to exploit the existing and future tactical potential of national space systems and to integrate those capabilities into the army’s tactical decision-making process as quickly as possible.

“CACI provides advanced solutions that will help the army continually enhance situational awareness for tactical commanders and soldiers in the field.”

It provides the commander with immediate access to national assets and the information they provide.

CACI president and CEO Ken Asbury said: “CACI offers the army technical and operational expertise in the secure and rapid design, development, and deployment of critical intelligence-gathering software and systems.

“Recognised for our innovation, CACI provides advanced solutions that will help the army continually enhance situational awareness for tactical commanders and soldiers in the field.”

CACI delivers information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for intelligence, defence, and federal civilian customers.

In April, the company won a $71m five-year contract to provide sensor systems acquisition services to the Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier.

The technology firm said the order represents new work in its surveillance and reconnaissance market area.
