Notably, corporate governance was one of the most frequently referenced themes in Q2 2024, ranking highest in terms of mentions, ahead of cloud and online travel, according to GlobalData.

Of the top leading companies in the aerospace, defence & security industry, Thales had the greatest increase in references for corporate governance in Q2 2024, compared with the previous quarter. GlobalData identified 393 corporate governance-related sentences in the company's filings - 7% of all sentences - and an increase of 6% in Q2 2024 compared with Q2 2023. Safran’s mentions of corporate governance dropped by 91% to 54 and Leonardo’s by 107% to 31 and Axon Enterprise’s by 75% to 14 and General Electric’s by 94% to 4.
