PCO actively searches for opportunities to present its products not only in European but also Asian markets. It was a reason for the company’s participation at the DSA exhibition in Kuala Lumpur. It is an element of strategy of increasing involvement in the international market.
DSA is one of the five biggest trade events in the global defence industry. The event focuses on the defence industry and is held in Malaysia every two years, creating an opportunity to present Polish optoelectronics to a wide range of clients and initiating trade relations.
The South East Asian market is very important for PCO. For several years, the company realised deliveries of optoelectronic devices to clients from the region. PCO products are highly valued by contemporary users such as army, police and elite special forces, and anti-terrorist units.
“Our presence at DSA in Kuala Lumpur is the next step towards increasing of the export activities of the company. Using our participation in a big and significant event of the defence industry, we are showing our abilities to produce modern optoelectronic equipment for the military and other uniform services,” comments Krzysztof Kluza, President of the Board of PCO.
During DSA 2018, PCO presented lightweight and durable MU-3M night-vision monocular and multi-function, ergonomic MU-3ADM night-vision goggles. The company also exhibited state-of-the-art PNL-4 aviator night-vision goggles that meets the most rigid safety standards and were prepared for military helicopters crews. Construction of the goggles is based on the most modern generation of the INTENS image amplifiers, is light and easily fits not only the head but individual sight of the pilot.
Among the products presented in Malaysia were a modular day sight DCM-1 and thermal weapon sight SCT designed for observation and firing from small arms during day and night, in normal conditions and during limited visibility, and in different climatic and weather conditions. PCO also exhibited Thermal Binocular NPL-1T using new constructional solutions and advanced methods of thermal image processing, which allowed for obtaining exceptional quality of thermal image while reducing weight and power consumption.
Products presented during the DSA 2018 exhibition are a result of the company’s research and development projects and activities aimed at creating innovative Polish observation and aiming devices.
