The Miltech™ 908C is a MIL-STD fully managed, military-grade network switch and smart gateway solution offering eight triple speed (10/100/1000) ports. The Miltech 908C is compatible with all the newest industry network protocols for redundant link topology, security, multi-cast and management requirements. This special solution enables the conversion of any standard IP network to a military grade, mission-critical network by a patent pending transparent network optimiser.

Techaya tactical network solutions

The Miltec 908C provides the ability to quickly plan, coordinate, and ultimately act on the information received at the battlefield.

Leveraging best-in-class switching technology from Techaya and patent pending smart gateway from ES-Embedded Solutions, the Miltech 908C serves as a robust COTS solution for providing network connectivity to time-critical/mission-critical systems. The smart gateway serves as an adaptation layer converting normal IP networks into military, tactical grade networks. This unique solution does not interfere with network traffic and is fully transparent to other network entities. Adding this gateway to a ‘civilian’ network will transform it to a military grade network for any tactical use.

Military IP networks

Developed specifically for military and harsh defence applications, the Miltech 908C features mechanical packaging enhancements designed for MIL-STD-810F airborne and ground environmental compliance, and is highly reliable. It is fully compliant with EMI/RFI MILSTD 461E and power requirements as defined by MIL-STD 1275 and 704.

The unit has been especially hardened to improve ingress, impact, and shock / vibration protection, as well as eliminate all moving parts through passive cooling. All interfaces are through sealed MIL-D-38999 circular connectors.
