Aqeri, a leading Swedish manufacturer of computers and communication equipment for extreme environments, has signed a contract for a test series with Aselsan worth more than SEK1m (MSEK).
The test series, which covers computers, monitors and communication equipment for an army project, will be delivered during the current quarter. This test series can be followed by an initial series order worth MSEK 6, with deliveries during the summer.
As earlier reported, the present contracted test series and the initial series order can lead to the large series contract of up to MSEK 40. Deliveries in this case will be made consecutively during the first six months of 2014.
Aqeri’s CEO commented: "We have once again received acknowledgement of the fact that our business model, where speed and ability to meet the customer’s high expectations in the shortest possible time, has led to further business opportunities.
"I consider it likely that Aqeri has now even greater possibilities to win a considerable initial series order which, in such a case, can be followed by the really big series contract towards the end of the year."
