Aqeri, leading Swedish producer of computers and communication equipment for extreme environments, has signed a co-operation and distribution contract with Swiss Roschi Rohde & Schwarz (RRS).
By co-operating with Roschi Rohde & Schwarz, Aqeri has secured market access in a country that is known for its high expectations regarding quality and precision.
RRS was founded in 1948 and has since then, as part of German Rohde & Schwarz, been a leading system house for communication and measurement techniques for the procurement authority Armasuisse (equivalent to Swedish FMV).
Aqeri CEO said: "We have once again taken a step in the right direction according to our new business model by entering into selective partnerships with system houses in selected markets where business potential is considered very good. The value of Switzerland as a reference market – blue chip customer – is very significant. Co-operation will probably eventually lead to targeted marketing in Germany, whose commercial potential is many times greater than that of Switzerland."
