AMOG announce strategic relationship with PRINCIPIA

AMOG Consulting, an Australian-based engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership with French engineering firm PRINCIPIA.

During an ongoing multi-phase project with AMOG, DCNS identified a strong alignment and complimentary skills in the high end and innovative engineering solution services offered by these two companies.

This agreement will allow PRINCIPIA and AMOG a means of combining their expertise, particularly in the defence and maritime sectors, to provide cost-effective solutions throughout the entire asset lifecycle.

Benefits will also be able to be realised by the Royal Australian Navy, French Navy and other navies supported by DCNS.

Areas of focus will be on optimising the realisation of design concepts, and the development of an innovative structural integrity management system for all types of naval platforms, including navy vessels, and performance in the areas of:

  • Maintainability
  • Availability
  • Reliability
  • Integrity
  • Seaworthiness

This strategic partnership offers both parties the opportunity to expand and develop a broader global capability.

Whilst this agreement will enhance the combined offerings of both AMOG and PRINCIPIA, it will not impinge on the ongoing operations of their respective consulting activities and long-term support to their existing clients.

The vision to align Australia and France in providing worldwide innovative industrial solutions was realised on the 12 November 2015,
with the signing of a partnership agreement between AMOG’s CEO, Dr Andrew Potts and PRINCIPIA’s Chairman Benoît Valleteau de Moulliac.
