Defence Vision Systems’ (DVS) rugged HR low-light camera is a multispectral camera ideal for militarty use, and is designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.

General data

The low-light camera operates on an input voltage of 5Vdc and a typical power of 18w. The camera system weighs less than 1kg, making it ideal for transportation, and can operate in full daylight and starlight.

Environmental data

DVS’ low-light camera can operate in a wide range of extreme temperatures, making it an ideal choice for programmes in ruggd environments. The camera can operate in temperatures between -30°C to 60°C, but can be stored in more extreme temperatures of -40°C to 70°C. Shock and vibration specifications vary depending on customer specifications, but are available upon request.

The camera contains a mono body, which measures 98mm in length, 70mm in width and 94mm in height. The mounting is a ¼UNC Tripod Thread.

Manual control options and additional specifications

The camera is manually operated using an onscreen menu, but operates automatically and includes the DVS Gain management system providing the optimum image over a full 24-hour period.
