AJBAN vehicle variants

Carrying up to ten crew members, the Internal Security Vehicle (ISV) is equipped to deal with any internal security situation utilising audible and optical deterrents, integrated situational awareness and communication systems for inter-vehicle coordination.

The Special Operations Vehicle is an open-top, long-range, reconnaissance vehicle for special forces. Light and powerful, capable of accessing all terrains and helicopter transportable, this vehicle can be fitted with any user specified equipment.

All the AJBAN vehicles utilise the NIMR double wishbone, independent suspension, portal axles fitted with coil springs and hydraulic dampers to provide outstanding mobility in all terrains.

The vehicle architecture has been developed to meet harsh desert conditions worldwide, but is equally capable in all climatic conditions and environments.

With a steep approach and departure angles, a full central tyre inflation system and run flat tyres as standard, and a high power-to-weight ratio, the NIMR AJBAN Class provides the user with the performance required to complete the mission.

The AJBAN Class features variants with a high degree of protection to enhance survivability of the crew from roadside IEDs, under-vehicle mines and ballistic threats.

These tested and certified vehicles provide for physical crew security, with the roof-mounted, self-defence weapons and integrated command and control and mission systems providing additional crew survivability.

The AJBAN Class provides a multi-mission capable platform suitable for mounting and integrating a multitude of weapon and mission systems. The electronic architecture ensures communication integration and the advanced power management system to both enable the mission and protect the vehicle.
