Thales has agreed to deliver Sotas vehicle communication system and associated services to the Danish Defence and Logistic Organization (DALO) in Denmark.

The DALO will equip both wheeled and tracked vehicles with the Sotas communication system.

First deliveries under the seven-year contract are expected to begin in 2018.

The Sotas systems are based on a high-performance open architecture that is modular, scalable and future-proof, Thales stated.

Larger and more complex systems can be created by adding crew stations, network nodes, software packages, and hardware option modules.

The Sotas systems are currently in service with more than 30 countries.
