Deals this week: Sikorsky Aircraft, L3 Technologies, Engility
Sikorsky Aircraft has secured a foreign military sales contract worth $3.8bn to deliver 257 H-60 Black Hawk helicopters, with an option for an additional 103 Black Hawks, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, the five-year contract includes support services for systems engineering, programme management, technical data and publications.
L3 Technologies has been awarded an $89.2m contract to supply M783 point detonating / delay mortar fuses and M734A1 multi-option fuse for mortars to the US Army.
The M783 and M734A1 fuses to be supplied under the deal will provide indirect fire support to the US Army’s infantry units in combat operations.
Engility Holdings has received a $119m contract to provide support services for the US Army’s Logistics Modernization Programme (LMP).
The contractor will provide technical expertise, subject matter expertise, and programme and product management services to the US Army’s LMP.
The deal has a base period of three years and a two-year option.
Cummins has been awarded a $25m contract modification by the US Army Contracting Command to supply engines by June 2018.
Cummins will procure 126 V903 engines, 60 reduced white smoke engines, and miscellaneous parts.
ViaSat has been awarded a four-year contract by The Boeing Company to provide two-channel radio systems for AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopters.
The contractor will supply 534 Small Tactical Terminal (STT) KOR-24A Link 16 terminals for use by the US Army and international foreign military sales customers, as part of the contract.
