Orbital ATK’s subsidiary, Alliant Techsystems Operations, has secured a $68.94m contract modification to supply 8,001 M1156 precision guidance kits for the US Army and Marine Corps.

The guidance kits will be produced in Plymouth, Minnesota, US.

The contract has been awarded by the US Army Contracting Command and is expected to run through February 2019.

Valued at $216.37m, the new contract is a modification to a previously awarded order.
