Deals this week: Navistar Defense, AeroVironment, URS Federal Services
Navistar Defense has been awarded a three-year contract to provide cargo truck 4x4 chassis and 6x6 general transport trucks to the US Army.
Valued at $49.95m, the deal also covers 30t wreckers with material handling equipment and heavily armoured general transport trucks.
AeroVironment received a $23.07m contract from the US Army Contracting Command to provide hardware for the production of the Switchblade tactical missile system.
The contractual work will be carried out at AeroVironment’s facility in Simi Valley, California, US through September 2018.
URS Federal Services has been awarded a contract modification to provide rotary-wing flight instructor services to the US Army until March 2018.
The $15.46m modification has been awarded by the US Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command.
The US Army Contracting Command has awarded a $41.9m contact modification to AAI in support of Shadow Tactical unmanned aircraft.
AAI will supply 36 Block III kits for the Us Army’s Shadow Tactical aircraft until December 2021, under the contract.
Oshkosh Defense has secured a contact to provide motor vehicle parts and accessories for US Army and Marine Corps.
Awarded by the US Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, the contract includes three-year base period and two one-year option periods.
