Deals this week: AM General, Leidos, Lockheed Martin


AM General has secured a contract worth $2.2bn to manufacture up to 11,560 high-mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) expanded capacity vehicles (ECV) until February 2023.

Awarded by the US Army Contracting Command, the contract also includes associated optional equipment and contractor-unique spare parts packages in its scope.

The vehicles to be produced under the deal will be delivered to foreign military sales customers.

The US Army Contracting Command has awarded a $727.69m support services contract to Leidos Innovation Corporation.

The contractor will support fixed-wing helicopter and aircraft fleets of the Afghanistan’s Air Force and Special Mission Wing units, as part of the deal, through May 2020.

The control will see Lockheed Martin produce and deliver 7,358 Hellfire II tactical missiles in various container configurations.

Deliveries of the missiles are expected to be completed in September 2020.

IAP Worldwide Services has been selected to support the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) pilot and flight operations of the US Army Fixed Wing Project Office overseas.

IAP will partner with Avenge to provide support services for the Army Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Fixed Wing Fleet.

The $72m contract is part of the Rapid Response Third Generation (R23G) contract vehicle.

Beshenich Muir and Associates has received a logistics support services contract valued at $36m from the US Army Contracting Command.

The scope of the contract includes delivery of contractor logistics support services for equipment of the US Army’s Project Manager Close Combat Systems programme up to August 2022.
