Vector to Overhaul US Army TH-67 Helicopters

The US Army has awarded a subcontract to Vector Aerospace Helicopter Services to provide support services for its TH-67 (Bell 206) flying hour programme.

Under the contract, the company will provide support services including the plastic media strip, aircraft inspection and painting of 25 TH-67 helicopters.

The 39.1ft-long, 6.4ft-wide Bell TH-67 is a 206 variant used in rotary pilot training for the US Army and Navy. Capable of flying at a height of 14,800ft, the helicopter has a maximum cruise speed of 118kt.

Vector will also complete structural overhauls on two heavily damaged TH-67 helicopters.
