Korea Receives Aura VIPER Power Systems

30 October 2009

The South Korean Army has received 110 vehicle-integrated primary electrical resource (VIPER) systems from Aura Systems, bringing the total systems delivered for the army to 300 systems.

The VIPER is a mobile power generator and vehicles power management system, which delivers both AC and DC electricity, on location, for all military applications.

The system is designed to operate under extreme temperatures from -40°F to 125°F and features 30-minute submersible capacity.

Aura Systems will also supply a number of 16kW AC/DC VIPER systems to Korea in December 2009 under a newly signed order.
