The Dutch Ministry of Defence has ordered 14 additional new Bushmaster protected mobility vehicles from Thales Australia, taking the total number of Bushmasters supplied to the country to 72.
Demonstrating Bushmaster’s flexibility, Thales will provide internal modular kits to enable vehicle reconfiguration in theatre.

As part of the order, Thales is also supplying additional EOS-SRWS stabilised remote weapon stations in partnership with Australia firm EOS.
Production work on the new vehicles has already started and delivery is expected to be complete by late 2009.
