The US Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority have signed a declaration for the improvement of aviation security.
TSA has created an aviation security sustainable international standards team (AISSIST) of security experts to work with local security officials to enhance aviation security programmes and build sustainable institutions and practices.
