UK aerospace firm Cobham has announced the acquisition of US company M/A-COM.
The Tyco Electronics-owned company will be purchased for US$425m, Reuters reports.
Cobham says it will sell M/A-COM's commercial business, which accounts for 60 percent of the company's sales.
The move will boost Cobham's defence electronic systems business in the US.
