30 April 2008 14:39

Rockwell Collins says its fiscal second-quarter profit increased 20 percent, driven by improved operational performance and increased sales to airlines and aircraft original equipment manufacturers.

Net income rose to US$168m from US$140m for the same period last year.

Sales increased ten percent to US$1.19bn.

The company says its government systems segment logged sales of US$576m, a six percent increase over last year's quarter.
