BAE Develops Anti-Jamming GPS Device

21 April 2008 13:39

BAE Systems has developed a satellite navigation receiver system to provide uninterrupted operation of GPS systems in the presence of radio frequency jamming.

BAE says the system was developed in response to the emerging threat of disruption to GPS navigation systems.

During tests of the system, the anti-jam GPS successfully overcame electronic jamming in various scenarios, including multiple simultaneous jamming.

The anti-jamming satellite navigation receiver is available as a complete system or as an add-on to any existing GPS system.
